How do I store and share documents?

The vault holds the certificates, receipts and filings that prove your compliance, and shares them with a bank, a landlord or a tender committee without emailing attachments around.

Uploading a document

  1. Open the vault and choose a file.
  2. Give it a display name and a short description.
  3. Tag the document type: certificate, receipt, form, correspondence or evidence.

Limits: 15 MB per file, and the file must be a PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP or XLSX spreadsheet. A file that fails either check is refused with a message rather than silently dropped.

Versions happen automatically

Upload a file with the same filename and it becomes the next version. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is lost, so this year's certificate sits on top of last year's. If you want two separate documents instead, upload them with different filenames.

Sharing without email attachments

  1. Create a share link and tick the documents to include.
  2. Set how many days it should stay open. Seven is the default.
  3. Send the link. The recipient sees only the documents you ticked, and needs no Sahihi account.

Revoking a link

A link stops working the moment you revoke it, and it also stops on its own at the expiry you set. The share history lists every link you have made, what it contains and whether it is still live, so an old link is never a mystery.

Uploading, sharing and revoking need compliance officer, admin or owner. Everyone in the business can read and download.
