What happens if you miss it

Operating a factory or workplace without registration or a compliance licence: fine of not less than TZS 1,000,000 and not more than TZS 5,000,000, or imprisonment up to 12 months, or both; if the contravention continues it is a further offence at up to TZS 100,000 for each additional day. Registration fees were removed in the 2023 Blueprint reforms but the statutory penalty for not registering was not.
